Job Description:

Seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Spanish, tenure-track position, to begin July 2020. Generalist with focus on Spanish-American Studies, able to teach survey courses and topics courses, record of publications or scholarly promise. Will teach Spanish language at all levels, including advanced composition; ability to work with different learning abilities, support a wide array of extra-curricular events, develop interdisciplinary courses and/or specialized courses for Spanish for the professions. Review will begin February 1 and continue until the position is filled.


Requirements:

Ph.D. in Spanish; demonstrated teaching excellence at the college level; native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English.
