About Norwich University:

Job Description:

Norwich University's College of Graduate & Continuing Studies seeks individuals qualified to develop and subsequently teach online undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Information Systems. The courses will serve as requirements in both bachelor's and master's degree programs offered online by the College.

Specific undergraduate courses to be developed are:

  • Operating Systems & Parallelism
  • Computer Architecture & Reverse Engineering

Norwich University provides training to new course developers and adjunct instructors. Course developers work as part of a team that includes instructional designers and developers, media specialists, digital librarians, and academic program leaders.

Course development is done on an individual course contract basis, as is online teaching.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a master's degree (doctorate preferred) in computer science, computer technology, information systems, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of the computer science foundations, reverse engineering, computer architecture, and operating systems
  • Experience developing or teaching online courses at the post-secondary level preferred
  • Experience in the use of computer science in any sector
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident or otherwise legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
