Job Description:

March 23, 2020 - anticipated start date is early August 2020.

Seeking an individual who will be responsible for the administration of card services, including the CADETcard ID card; CADETcash; location access control and lock schedules.

The Coordinator will provide administrative oversight of student clubs and mentorship for club officers and advisors. Norwich University supports more than 80 student clubs, and contracts with Campus Labs as its organization management and student engagement platform.

The Coordinator will track student engagement utilizing campus resources, including the CADETcard and Campus Labs Engage.


Maintain and evaluate Card Services performance
Generate revenue through CADETcash relationships with on and off-campus merchants and through fee structures
Track card services requests and task completion
Assist in managing building/location access and lock schedules
Principle contract administrator for on and off campus merchants to ensure appropriate functions and performance all hours
Procure and maintain equipment and supplies, including card printers, point of sale equipment, mobile engagement solutions, merchant transaction solutions and card inventory.
Facilitate preparedness and support for returning and new student arrival dates.
Support conference services needs, including CGCS Residency, Future Leader Camp, Civil Air Patrol, and E-Sports
Effectively manage income and fee structures to balance Card Services budgets
Facilitate the delivery of ID cards to new students
Facilitate residential access and meal plan access for all residential students
Manage new, returning, international, exchange, and re-admission student lists
Manage withdrawal, study abroad, exchange, expedition, academic and disciplinary dismissal lists. Deactivate meal plans, access, and accounts
Publish and maintain Card Services policies, fees and request processes on the internal and external Web
Remain current on new technologies and software upgrades, and attend trainings as necessary


Facilitate and track student engagement though a vibrant co-curricular student clubs model
Facilitate outcomes-based experiential and practical leader development opportunities
Mentor and facilitate trainings for club officers and club advisors
Provide support and direction for student club budget management, event approval, fundraising, travel, liability and annual recognition
Facilitate the TAWANI Student Life Grant Fund application and award process and manage the restricted fund
Recruit, train, develop and provide direction for the Student Clubs Coordinator
Assist with strategic budget planning for student clubs
Monitor systems of accounting for student clubs
Utilize Campus Labs to track and analyze student engagement data
Work with student clubs to meet the needs of the NU Admissions Office, including club presence during "NU on Display" at the Open Houses



Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Professional experience in a student affairs, auxiliary services, leadership development or recreation setting
Proven record of collaborative programmatic efforts
Demonstrated ability to recruit, train and develop student leaders and volunteers
Ability to provide leadership and mentorship for diverse and disparate student populations
Demonstrated fiscal responsibility, including budget planning and management
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
Capable of lifting moderate loads and performing equipment and event set-ups


Master's degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education Administration, Counseling & Student Affairs, Leadership, Recreation, or a related field
1 - 3 Years of professional experience within a student involvement, student affairs, auxiliary services, leadership development or recreation setting is strongly desired
Commitment to student development and a demonstrated knowledge of Student Development Theory and practical application
Previous student organization administration experience.
Previous experience with Campus Labs Engage or other organization management or co-curricular tracking platforms.

High level of technical comfort, competency and adaptability to manage Card Services hardware and software
