Wellness Nurse - Foot Care (RN)
Per diem
We are seekinga per diem Wellness Nurse to specialize in Foot Care.Previous foot careexperience preferred but will train the right candidate.May facilitate educational opportunities for residents incollaboration with existing agencies and services.Will support on-going wellness related business opportunitieswhen appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or higher in nursing
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
- Certificate in gerontology preferred.
- Good understanding of and experience in home based nursing, and a strong interest in the field.
- Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with, and to use tact, discretion and sensitivity in dealing with patients/residents.
- Basic teaching skills; ability to explain medical problems and treatments in accurate and understandable lay language; ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals both in and outside of the agency, including physicians, other community health care providers
