This role has a flexible office (some days virtual) arrangement after completion of the training period. Any remaining work days will be in the office in South Burlington, VT.
The UVM Medical Center Medical Group Finance team is seeking an organized Excel extraordinaire to join their dedicated group of financial analysts! Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of an organization, prior experience in healthcare, and strong familiarity with physician compensation methods a plus.

support the operational decision-making team to inform the way the Network serves its patients;

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide the primary financial management and related analysis support for one or more assigned clinical business units (e.g. HCS divisions within the FAHC Medical Group, Nursing and Ancillary Services.). Act as the liaison for Finance by interpreting the finance support needs of his/her customer group(s)and responding to those needs by facilitating the application of appropriate resources in conjunction with Finance. Organize and present the financial basis for strategic and operational decision making by his/her customers' leadership team.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities were acquired will be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Three to five years of related experience that demonstrates knowledge and familiarity with health care finance, accounting and budgeting.
