JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Pharmacists of UVMMC Outpatient Pharmacies. serves outpatient medication needs by compounding and dispensing medication according to prescription orders, screening for and addressing medication related problems, counseling patients and health care professionals on the proper use of medication, and maintaining good business practices to ensure success of company within the mission of the University of Vermont Medical Center.
EDUCATION:
Pharmacy Degree from ACPE accredited college of pharmacy (five-year B.S. or Pharm. D.),
EXPERIENCE:
One year minimum retail pharmacy within past 5 years, one year minimum experience in a health system pharmacy. Equivalent alternate pharmacy experience is acceptable.
