JOB DESCRIPTION
The Supervisor, OP Ambulatory Pharmacy Clinical Services is a member of the outpatient pharmacy leadership team. Responsible for the oversight of the clinical services provided by the Specialty Pharmacy and for ensuring the effective and efficient provision of ambulatory clinical pharmacy services at designated locations. The individual must take a leadership role in organizing, directing and monitoring ambulatory clinical pharmacy services. This oversight includes adherence to accreditation standards, clinical guidelines and collaboration with the specialty pharmacy operations team to ensure financial and clinical goals are met. This individual is a leader that facilitates development, implement and maintenance of systems, procedures and protocols that promote desirable patient outcomes. This individual coordinates clinical pharmacy services and programs and participates in multi-disciplinary committees and projects to collaborate on clinical pharmacy issues.
EDUCATION
Doctor of Pharmacy or B.S in pharmacy
Completion of a PGY-1 and/or PGY-2 ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience
Licensed pharmacist in the State of Vermont in good standing.
Board Certification strongly encouraged
EXPERIENCE
Three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting or equivalent experience required.
One year or more of management experience preferred.
