Our structural engineering professionals provide the technical assistance our clients need to evaluate the integrity of their existing inventory of structures and the experience to rehabilitate or design new structures as needed.

This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management.
  • Handle all aspects for a project.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design/management experience.
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in VT or be able to be licensed in VT.
  • Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public and private sector clients.
  • An established business network with VTrans and Municipal clients and contractors.
  • Prior experience with the Federal-Aid project delivery process.
  • Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work.
  • Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
  • Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and/or design build procurement a plus.
