Here at Lactalis US Yogurt in Brattleboro, we are looking for a Certified Commercial Journeyman Electrical Maintenance Technician with a min of 4000 Licensed Work Hours

Salary$25/hr PLUS depending upon experience
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair mechanical equipment and facilities; aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations.*
- Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals; Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
- Maintain completed daily record of work performed on maintenance software.
- Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and how to apply it to a project effectively.
- Work on low and high voltage transformers, motors, motor starters, and switchgear
- Assist machine operators in determining when the machine should be shut down due to electrical problems.
- Perform established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment and completes appropriate paperwork.
- Ability to disassemble and assemble all parts of machines and support equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Schedule: 12 hour shift, 6pm to 6am on a rotating schedule
Requirements
- 4000 hour minimum licensed work as a commercial (not residential) journeyman - electrical.
- Quickly able to provide comprehensive electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial 3-phase power, including AC and DC motors, relay logic and programmable control logic.
- Master electrical License - State of Vermont
