JOB SUMMARY:

The Master Electrician Lead provides hands-on technical oversight and coordinates daily activities for Facilities Management on the Home Health and Hospice and Fanny Allen locations. They provide technical guidance to staff, assigns work and makes recommendations to supervision on daily activities. They schedule corrective and preventive maintenance, installations and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing associated with the building, grounds, utilities and equipment. The incumbent works directly with the work order administrator to ensure all timely completion of PM's and work orders. The incumbent shall ensure that work performed complies with all state and local codes and other regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and a Master Electrical License is required. If a master electrical license is not present, a Journeyman license is required with the ability to obtain a Master Electrical License within one year. Must possess a valid Vermont driver's license and safe driving record.

EXPERIENCE:

Five years of hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, operating or installing: hospital or industrial utilities; electrical systems; and equipment. Two years of experience supervising journeyman-level trades or technical staff in a hospital or a related environment. Two years' experience in managing vendor contracts and materials/services procurement.
