What We Need:
Brady Corp is seeking a Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing Intern. This position provides an opportunity for an individual in business, supply chain operations management, or related field to work on a sourcing team in Milwaukee at Brady Corporation. Projects will vary in nature based on current opportunities, the candidate and their assigned area. Ultimately providing an opportunity to learn and gain experience in Procurement and Supply Chain.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Learn the business of Brady Industrial (North America) operations by supporting sourcing with strategy development, and new product introduction projects
  • Assigned projects may be focused in any of the following areas; supply chain and inventory management, product
    improvement / launch and/or production process improvement initiatives related to 3rd party supplier management
  • Develop an understanding of sourcing and supply chain management through various duties, which may include:
    spend analysis, process improvements, purchasing support, data gathering, root cause analysis, commercial negotiations, project management, and supplier assessments.
  • Develop leadership skills through opportunities focused on change management, collaboration, communication, decision-making, delegation, and time management.
  • Develop, prepare, and execute share summary reports.

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related degree.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Skills, G-Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to complete multiple projects on schedule with minimal supervision
  • Sophomore standing or greater
  • 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
