Job Details

Reporting to the SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development, the Strategy & Corporate Development function is responsible for developing and implementing the company wide business strategy, including development and review of growth and diversification, and financial business plans (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures). The Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Integration will help lead, develop, and execute implementation plans, including post-merger integrations, for key strategic imperatives built against aggressive business plan objectives of Haemonetics. The role is to continue to support and improve the company's strategic planning and execution process to further drive impact for Haemonetics.

Essential Duties

  • Embrace the businesses long term and short-term strategic plans with a focus on driving execution of initiatives outlined by the company
  • Leading the Integration Management Office (IMO) of mergers HAE completes to ensure deals deliver completely on the Critical Success Factors
  • Engage regularly with the Executive Leadership Team to discuss integration execution, resource planning, and eliminate barriers to value creation aligned with our strategic intents
  • Develop implementation plans for key strategic initiatives, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure business, financial, and operational success
  • Support the development and management of performance indicators for continuous improvement and efficiencies to undertake ideal practices and processes for integrations
  • Project manage, review and analyze activities, costs, and operations data to determine company progress towards stated goals and objectives related to M&A and divestitures
  • Lead integration with acquired entities and targets immediately and have ownership over the complete integration process, partner with cross-functional teams, evaluate opportunistic deal targets for integration value creation
  • Interact directly with acquisitions and acquisition target principals and their functional leaders create PMI plans and execute to plan
  • Build and manage relationships with the acquired entity's operating leaders and teams post-close to drive post-merger integration process adherence and synergies realizations

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Business, Finance, or equivalent educational background - Required

Master's Degree: MBA or equivalent educational background - Preferred

Experience

10 years: Proven business development and/or integration experience in the healthcare industry - Preferred

4 years: Successful direct or indirect people management experience; leading teams and projects - Required
