THE ROLE:Healthcare Industry Advisor, Sr. Director

Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Industry Advisor, Sr. Director, you will serve as the authoritative voice and expert collaborator for Presidio Sales teams working with prominent Health and Life Sciences organizations. This role involves bringing together industry solutions, partner solutions, and technology awareness from the ecosystem to assist customers in transforming and addressing complex industry challenges.

Leveraging expertise in cloud computing, AI, and data analytics, Presidio provides tools and platforms that enhance productivity, expedite outcomes, and facilitate the development of personalized medicine. As a Subject Matter Expert in the Health and Life Sciences domain, the Industry Advisor will leverage technology in collaboration with HyperScale Partners and strategic vendor/solution partners to drive innovation and enhance healthcare outcomes. The advisor is expected to possess in-depth knowledge of industry trends, understand the priorities of decision-makers, and effectively articulate the value of technology transformation using cloud and other digital solutions. Typical interactions will involve executive briefings and business workshops with Health and Life Science customers. A successful candidate for this role would have experience in a similar position within a National or Global SI or have served as a CMIO, CIO, or critical decision-maker at a leading Payer or Provider network.

Travel Requirements:

This position does require some regional travel, approximately 30%.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Healthcare Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, including regulations, standards, and emerging trends.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic guidance to healthcare clients on leveraging cloud technology to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to assist in customer conversations, providing healthcare-specific insights and articulating the value proposition of our cloud-based solutions.
  • Solution Alignment: Ensure proposed solutions align with healthcare industry standards, compliance requirements, and address unique healthcare challenges.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical and solution architecture teams to ensure healthcare-specific requirements are seamlessly integrated into proposed solutions.
  • Customization and Tailoring: Customize cloud solutions to meet the specific needs of healthcare organizations, considering patient privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to act as a thought leader in customer conversations.
  • Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions for sales teams on healthcare-specific nuances, ensuring a well-informed and empathetic approach in customer interactions.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with healthcare clients and internal teams to continuously improve and refine healthcare-specific offerings.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Epic and/or Health Data Estates and/or concentration in Data & Artificial Intelligence.
  • 5+ years of experience working on implementing a major digital initiative at a Healthcare customer.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical selling to Technology decision makers
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing, supporting or managing a cloud-based solution.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 7+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience
  • 10+ years in the industry or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, management consulting, consultative selling, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience or equivalent experience.
